Questions for us to answer in future podcast episodes

Hi everyone, please comment below with ideas for future podcasts. Anything topic related to 4D. Safety, time management, temporary works, logistics. Questions can be technical, methods, BIM, planning, behavioural, software or anything.

Behaviour is a big one and that comes back to procurement. We’re in old habits, and old habits die hard...

So one focussed on procurement routes? What is the most suitable for allowing good methods (like 4D) to be adopted?

Yeah I think so and the answer is probably not any of the ones we use currently, but it’s more of a case of people deciding to work that way because it’s good for them and the project. Plan better.

Hi James, not sure if you've covered it already in previous podcasts but it would be good to hear some of your thoughts on some of the common stakeholder engagement challenges you have had when trying to introduce 4D for the first time onto a programme, particularly any proven techniques which you used to help you obtain funding/approval to actually do 4D in the first place.

Thanks @Roheel Babla we can certainly talk about this, and I'd imagine it would take up a full episode. What do you think @DJ Gibbs and @Chris Needham ?

That's a good idea, all of us working with 4D will be often confronted with barriers and arguments against it, would be nice to hear a session of success cases overcoming this kind of challenges
